Syrian truffle “Zubaidi”
Terfeziaceae (singular: truffle) or Terfeziaceae (singular: Terfas) (scientific name: Terfeziaceae) is a family of fungi belonging to the order Cupidaceae. This fungus is a seasonal wild truffle that grows in the desert after rainfall at a depth of 5 to 15 centimeters underground and is used as food. The weight of a truffle usually ranges from 30 to 300 grams.
